Blockchain technology has garnered much attention over the last few years from both critics and advocates alike. RippleNet and xRapid are Ripple’s core contributions to the industry. RippleNet allows banks to work together with other participants within the network in ways that significantly reduce costs, while xRapid facilitates liquidity instantly via XRP.
Ripple’s xRapid is now expanding its reach into new markets, aiming to be the next thing that enables faster payment processing and lower costs than the current banking system.
